Dinosaur Days with Amari

Amari and I would like to send a special thank you to everyone who participated in and supported Dinosaur Day at the Tallahassee Museum and Dinosaur Day at the Woodlands Park!

More than 500 people visited the Tallahassee Museum for Dinosaur Day on May 14! Children took pictures with Amari, played dinosaur games such as Dino Musical Chairs and Dinosaur Egg Race, and won prizes such as a Dinosaur Fossil Kit and a dino watch.

During Dinosaur Day in the Woodlands Park in Longwood (near Orlando) on May 22, children cooled off with Amari's Tony the T-Rex sprinkler and also played games and listened to dino music. The Woodlands HOA donated cupcakes, water and the pavilion for the event. Grand prize winners received a dinosaur luggage set and a Dinosaur Fossil Kit.

We enjoyed reading Amari Goes to Dinosaur Land, Amari's Dinosaur Adventures in Florida and Amari Goes on an Expedition at both events. Your support for our #LifeWithMari Dinosaur Series is much appreciated!

After Dinosaur Days, Amari graduated from Kindergarten and was promoted to first grade! Click the picture to watch the ceremony online for free.

Amari is now enjoying a month in Hawaii with his dad, Jerald, and big brother, Marcus. You won't see as many posts from him for a while but hopefully before school starts, we will be releasing the last book in his Dinosaur Series called Amari the Paleontologist!
